Promote TYT via Twitter
How you can promote the Young Turks on Twitter.
First, make as many contacts on Twitter as possible. The more people you follow the more you will have following you and hence more people will see your tweets. Every once in awhile go through and unfollow the people who are not following you. Once you’ve widdled your following list down, search for more people to follow. Often times I’ll search Twitter pages that I think people who’d enjoy the Young Turks would follow, like “The Nation” or “Sam Seder”.
Along with cultivating my contacts I also pick one TYT YouTube clip or blog post and Tweet it out to my followers on a daily basis.
In conclusion promoting TYT on Twitter involves two steps
1) cultivating your followers and following list with the goal of introducing new people to the show.
2) Tweeting out TYT YouTube Clips and Blog post on a regular basis.
